Fragile stamp maker: fragile and handle with care stamps
A fragile and handle with care stamp maker for shipping marks: large, high-contrast wording sized for a carton rather than a document.

Every preview on this page carries a faint Stamp-Seal watermark. Your own download does not: the editor renders your stamp again, clean, as a transparent PNG, an SVG or a PDF. See the full template library.
A shipping mark has the opposite problem to every other stamp on this site. It is not read at desk distance, it is glanced at across a warehouse by somebody moving quickly, and it has to survive tape, scuffing and a forklift. That means big, plain, and high contrast, with none of the fine ring text a company seal lives on.
What the editor gives you
- Large rectangular and triangular marks, which is what carton stencils actually use.
- Heavy plain type at a size that still reads when the box is on a pallet two metres away.
- Red is the convention for FRAGILE, and the colour picker has the rest for anyone using a house scheme.
- THIS WAY UP, DO NOT STACK, KEEP DRY and HANDLE WITH CARE are all just wording changes on the same layout.
- A print-ready PDF and an EPS, since these usually go to a label printer rather than onto a screen.
Making one, step by step
- Open the stamp maker and pick a shape, or start from a template.
- Type your wording, then set the colour, border and size.
- Add the date, time, serial number or logo, and position each one.
- Preview it live, then download. Designing and previewing are free.
Questions people ask
Does a fragile stamp mean the carrier has to be careful?
Not by itself. Carrier liability is set by the contract of carriage and the packaging standard, not by what is printed on the box. The mark is an instruction to whoever is handling it, which is useful, but it is not a guarantee and should not replace proper packing.
What size should a shipping mark be?
Big enough to read at the distance somebody decides how to pick the box up. Set the physical size before downloading so the file carries the dimensions, rather than being scaled by whatever prints it.
Should it be red?
Red is the widely understood convention for fragile and it costs nothing to follow. Where a carrier or customer specifies their own marking scheme, follow theirs.
